Prescott Valley, Arizona – April 20th, 2024 – The Prescott Area Young Professionals (PAYP) organized a highly successful Spring Clean Out event, held on April 20th, which aimed to support the Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation while promoting sustainability and affordable clothing options for women and children.
The Spring Clean Out event was made possible through the generous support of local businesses and sponsors who embraced the initiative’s vision and commitment to making a positive impact on the community. Donation boxes were placed in various businesses across Yavapai County, allowing community members to contribute their gently used clothing for a worthy cause.
Volunteers from PAYP dedicated countless hours to sorting and organizing the donated clothing by size and type, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for attendees at the pop-up thrift store. With over 4,000 items of clothing available, all priced at $5 or less, the event provided a unique opportunity for individuals to find affordable and fashionable clothing while supporting a meaningful cause.
A portion of the proceeds generated from the Spring Clean Out event will directly benefit the Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation. This foundation plays a critical role in advocating for the well-being of abused and neglected children in the Yavapai County community, ensuring they have access to the support and resources they need.
PAYP would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the sponsors, businesses, and community members who contributed to the success of this event. Their unwavering support and commitment to the cause made it possible to raise significant funds while promoting sustainability and affordable clothing options for women and children.
