Congratulations for completing high school. We know the prospect of the next step in your education can be daunting, both in deciding where to go and how to afford it. The Prescott Area Young Professionals is pleased to offer a couple of $1,000 scholarships to give you some help financially.

Arizona Community Foundation Scholarship - $1000

The Prescott Area Young Professionals (through the Arizona Community Foundation of Yavapai County) will be awarding a $1,000.00 scholarship for a post high school education to a 2019 High School graduate from any of the Prescott Quad Cities high schools. It may be used at any accredited university, college, business or trade/technical school. The scholarship selection will be based on the demonstration of a student who is well rounded both academically and in the community. To qualify please complete the application and provide the following:

• Copy of your transcript/Academic History
• A 300-500 word essay which briefly describes what your education means to you, volunteer activities, involvement in school and/or community organizations.
• A letter of recommendation from a teacher, administrator or community member a community member. (Please include writers’ contact information.)

Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce - $1000

The Prescott Area Young Professionals (through the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce) will be awarding a $1,000.00 scholarship for a post high school education to a 2019 Bradshaw Mountain High School graduate. It may be used at any accredited university, college, business or trade/technical school. It will be made payable directly to the educational institution to which the student is enrolled in the fall of 2019. The scholarship selection will be based on the demonstration of a student who is well rounded both academically and in the community. To qualify please complete the application and provide the following:

• Copy of your transcript/Academic History
• A 300-500 word essay which briefly describes what your education means to you, volunteeractivities, involvement in school and/or community organizations.
• A letter of recommendation from a teacher, administrator or community member a community member. (Please include writers’ contact information.)
